At the foothills of Javvadu Hills, Potharai Village, Polur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District:
The Reason for Establishing this temple dates back to my Ancestors’s time when my grandfather and great-grandfather cultivated crops and practiced Agriculture on this very land, now chosen as the site for the temple. During that time, my ancestors worshipped Shri Ondi Muneesswaran, Shri Sangili Karuppannasamy, Shri Renugambal, Shri Kaliamman, and the Parivarthana deities by offering rituals and prayers. These deities have blessed the village with prosperity and a life free from Ailments. On the hill adjoining this land, many years ago, the kings who ruled North Arcot built a fortress to reside in and govern the people. Atop the hill, there existed temples dedicated to worshipped deities such as Shri Durgai Amman, Shri Saptha Kanni, Shri Ondi Muneeswaran, and Shri Kottai Karuppasamy. The villagers have been conducting rituals and performing acts of charity at the foothills. This temple has been planned according to the guidance given by my Ancestors. We have decided to establish a temple on my land, where Shri Sangili Karuppannasamy, Shri Renukambal, Shri Ondi Muneeswarar, and Parivarthana deities have manifested themselves naturally and were worshipped by my ancestors.
The deities to be consecrated include Shri Valampuri Vinayagar (main deity), Shri
Sangili Karuppannasamy, Shri Veera shanmugar, Shri Renugambal, Shri Ondi
Muneeswarar, Shri Kaliamman, Shri Saptha Kanni, Shri Panchamukha Sivan, Shri
Kalabhairavar, Shri Varahi Amman, Shri Agathiyar, Shri Dhanvantari, Shri Pambatti
Siddhar, Shri Anjaneyar, and Shri Ayyanar.
The Renovation of this temple is being carried out by the Sri Varaham Swasthik
Foundation.
A Siddha medical Center and Research facility will be established here to provide
